Ontem foi anunciado que a temporada completa da nova série da ABC, Once Upon a Time, foi aprovada, após o visionamento da sua estreia por 12,3 milhões de espectadores. Na Primavera passada, tive o privilégio de trabalhar com o Designer de Produção Mark Worthington na equipa do episódio piloto, nomeadamente na criação do livro de contos, um adereço que cria a ponte entre os dois mundos da série.

Yesterday came out the news that the full season orders for ABC's new series 'Once Upon a Time' were given, after its debut being watched by 12.3 million viewers. Last Spring I had the privilege of working with Production Designer Mark Worthington in the pilot episode's team, specifically in the story book, a prop that links "tale" and "real" worlds.

Depois de ganhar o Gem Award, da Diamond, para Melhor Antologia de 2011, Mouse Guard: Legends Of The Guard vol.1 ganhou o mais prestigiado dos prémios da indústria americana, o Eisner. Uma vez mais, o meu obrigado a David Petersen por arriscar convidar-me para uma lista cheia de gente talentosa. Parabéns a todos os autores, ao editor Paul Morrissey e à equipa da Archaia.

After bringing home Diamond's Gem Award for 'Anthology TP of the year', Mouse Guard: Legends Of The Guard, vol.1 won the most prestigious of the American industry's prizes, the Eisner. Once again, my thanks to David Petersen for risking inviting me to a list full of talented people. Congratulations to all the authors, to the editor Paul Morrissey and to Archaia's team.

O grupo de artistas KORKALO. de Vallila, Helsínquia, organizou um evento único chamado KUORI, dedicado à relação entre arte e ambientes pós-catastróficos. Vou estar presente, de 17 a 21 de Agosto, para aprender com o seu incrivelmente variado grupo de participantes e partilhar alguma da minha visão confusa sobre o tema. Espero ver alguns de vocês por lá.

The artists group KORKALO, from Vallila, Helsinki, is hosting a quite unique event named KUORI, dedicated to the relation between art and post-catastrophic environments. I'll be there, from August 17th to the 21st to learn with its widely varied group of participants and share my own disoriented views on the subject. Hope to see some of you there.
